It has been great for the children to participate in this terms extended project. As well as learning about the work of Clarice Cliff, her background and style, it has also taught the children patience, planning, the importance of designing and refining their work, the creative process of papier mache, plus the development of their skills in oil pastel and paint. That’s a lot of skills and a lot of proud children too, their vases are absolute bangers!
