Being creative induces a state of mindfulness that therapists agree can help express emotions, reduce stress and anxiety and offer a space for relaxation.
Take A Breath is a totally inclusive art class that aims to support and inspire adults who enjoy being creative or just want to try something new in a relaxed and non-threatening environment.
“I come for some time to think about nothing else.” says Sharon.
“Lisa opens the art doors for us to peep inside and she inspires us.” says Heather.
“It is a relaxing, happy place with wonderful people. Lisa is an amazing teacher and I have learnt so much. Thank you Lisa for bringing us together.” says Samantha.
Group visits to galleries and social events also take place throughout the year.
