Art Stop Art Challenge No.9!

Artists don’t have to use pencils or paints. Art can be made from any material, whatever comes to hand or is available. During the 20th Century what was acceptable to be called  ‘art’ first caused controversy then as with life, became more widely accepted. Duchamp’s Urinal for example caused widespread alarm or Picasso’s Bull Head made from a bicycle seat. More recently Tracey Emin’s Unmade Bed still got people talking in the 90’s!

This challenge uses natural materials for art making. If you want to learn more about environmental art, take a look at the work of Andy Golsworthy and Richard Long.

Have fun!
