The 1st September, new beginnings and thinking of the academic year ahead. That yearly feeling us teachers have!

I was just thinking back to a party I did for an amazing family this summer. They had family visiting from abroad and wanted something different they could all do together – what a lovely idea I thought!

The chosen theme was India so we made mod roc bowls which we then decoupaged with beautiful Indian papers. It was interesting how this activity was accessible to young and old, each working at their own pace yet each with a very clear idea of how they wanted their bowl to look.

Everyone is creative, both young and old, they just need the opportunity to be able to release it.
