I’ve recently started a You Tube channel to help with online art lessons at this time. I found it really scary to start with but once I get going, it’s actually a lot easier than I was expecting!

I’m currently posting a programme of lessons about the Colour Wheel. This is an essential part of a child’s art education and should begin as early as possible with learning the colours and having multiple opportunities to explore these through colour mixing activities.

Art Challenge 3 has 2 learning outcomes – To know the colours of the colour wheel in order and to be able to blend colours effectively.

Art Challenge 4 combines art with science with a colour wheel water experiment plus creating a biscuit Colour Wheel by mixing primary colour icing as an alternative to paint. Edible art is always a hit!

Art Challenge 5 focuses on learning about hot and cold colours through a simple weaving activity.
